Most schools have trashy fans. Vandy might be the lone exception and even they might have some. I guarantee you that you can visit any SEC stadium and run into one blazing a-hole. I've seen Georgia fans do things that embarrassed the entire fan base. Chances are they didn't go to college, much less UGA. The loudest, most obnoxious fans stand out, but they aren't the majority for any school.

I think your proposal is reasonable and just slightly short of ostentatious, right where it needed to be. However, I am amazed that some don't seem to appreciate your restraint. Change is difficult for some so you may have to depart from the "humble superiority" approach a little sooner than you intended and make an example of someone. Any volunteers?

That aside, UF has been and will again be the dominant program in the East division. I don't really think Mullen is the guy to do it, but UF has proven that, like Alabama, they won't tolerate for long a coach that can't win it all. McElwain got his team to the SEC title game 2 of 3 years and they fired his arse.
