So all those quotes from Bammer players right after they lost saying they were still the better team, and from idiots like Robert Smith who claim Bammer "dominated" the first game, will have no effect on LSU motivation. Got it.

These Alabama players hear what's being said about them. They lost already at home, Oklahoma St. deserves to be in there over Bama, etc.
Well, every LSU player has been hearing nothing but "Alabama should have won the first time" since Nov. 5th.

I expect the Tigers to come out ready to prove they are the best.

Big advantage LSU has on Bama are idiotic disses like some of Bama players' comments following the Nov5th game, or the Coaches AA vote earlier today, etc.

Both teams play with big chips on their shoulders this game.

Irrelevant.

There isn't any advantage in that for Bama. That scenario only plays out in the David vs Goliath deal.

The fans would like for LSU to win. The talking heads on ESPN has already crowned Bama.

What will totally offset this will be if Trent Richardson wins the Heisman. Historically, the team playing with the Heisman winner loses. It's going to be interesting.

Everyone who eats a pickle will die.

Does not mean that the pickle causes the death. There is no true correlation between the heisman trophy and losing in the team,

also the last two teams who won the title had the heisman winner.

Vegas made LSU a "home" favorite with a spread of 2. That means they think Bama is the better team.

Interesting since LSU clearly has an advantage in the kicking game

tight games come down to this phase of the game

Bama now has over a month to prep for Jefferson and the option which was about the only thing that netted any offensive production for LSU on th 5th. I doubt it will be as effective come Jan 9th. Best of luck corndogs, the best team will win IMO and I doubt either team will come less that 100% fully motivated.

It's the national championship game, to say one team will be more motivated than the other is pretty stupid.

A bigger advantage LSU has: The opportunity to go down as the greatest college football team in the history of the game! They compare very well to all the other great teams of all-time. Beating 'Bama will make the 2011 team remembered FOREVER. That trumps a split national championship anyday of the week. Geaux Tigers. Let it happen.

uhhhh, no. Bama and LSU players don't get motivated by what random fans across the nation say. wait until the "experts" start all picking Alabama to win. claiming they were the better team on Nov. 5th and still are. Nick Saban is a better coach. their defense is better. and then watch what happens when Vegas makes Bama a point or two favorite.

LSU players going to come out looking to rip someone's heart out.
