College football used to have the best and most meaningful regular season in sports. They are shitting all over that because a 24 team playoff will allow three and potentially four loss teams to get in. And doing away with conference championship games fricking sucks. The SEC isn’t the big 12. Winning this conference outright actually means something. If not for the conference championship game, Aggy would’ve been co-champions last year with their weak arse schedule. That should never happen. Aggy should never win this conference. Period.

I say we kick out all the expansion teams and go back to ten members. Round robin format so every team plays every other team in the conference every year. Then we have a conference championship game in Atlanta as God intended.

I see a Troy versus LSU rematch somewhere in Arizona in the future.

What's to be gained by all of this?

The only way any team below the top 8 is going to win the playoffs is if they have some game-changing quarterback who comes back from injury in time to make a run. This is all just so more watered down shite from the Bi10, Big12EastAmMountain whatever can be in the playoffs.

No, let’s make a rule that you can have no more than 10 teams in a conference and like 6 conferences. If you aren’t one of those 60 teams then you can frick off. Then let’s have the winners of those conferences play in a 6 team playoff. Top two seeds get byes.

It should look like this:
SEC :Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt

Big Ten:Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Purdue, Wisconsin

Pac-10: Arizona, Arizona State, California, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Washington, Washington State

ACC: Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, North Carolina, NC State, South Carolina, Virginia, Wake Forest

Gay 10: Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M

Big East: Boston College, Louisville, Miami, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, West Virginia

I think it makes sense if the NCAA agrees to get rid of the ridiculously meaningless bowls that generally have sparse attendance.
