Nice to see these guys behaving like this. If an assault charge comes next, I'll know my beloved Volunteers are back.

They were cited for underage drinking.

quote:

A police report filed by the Knox County Sheriff's Office states that linebackers Curt Maggitt, Jakob Johnson and Jalen Reeves-Maybin were cited for providing alcohol to underage people. Offensive lineman Dontavius Blair, defensive lineman Malik Brown, cornerback Justin Coleman and defensive end Dimarya Mixon were cited for underage consumption.

If this is how your coach handles underage drinking and providing alcohol to minors then all I will say is good luck. No further words need to be said. Such harsh dicipline around the SEC.

In Ga & Athens you get arrested and cited for underaged drinking or contributing to the delinquency of a minor. So if it's a UGA player it's a mandatory 1 game suspension. What will Butch do?

Which is as minor as a parking ticket. But go ahead and pretend I'm suggesting no discipline at all when in fact I've suggested a great deal of in house discipline. It's not like the courts are going to do anything but make them pay a fine and expunge their records.

The only player I see in bigger trouble is Obrien who basically pulled a Johnny Manziel and handed a fake id to a cop.

Underage drinking is drinking and the good book says thou shalt not drink! These boys are going to hell. BURN THEM NOW.
