Well if their goal was to party, breaking in with guns probably killed the vibe.

One thing I’m curious about, if this party happened in March why are they just not being charged?
No excuses. That just seems odd.

About time UK got some street cred. This might help them compete.

Fulmer cup is no more, unfortunately.
Shame, Kentucky was really working hard.

I’m sure it was a mostly, peaceful burglary and that they are good boys, and in the end it’ll be white supremacy that will do them in. At least that is what the Left’s take is.

I'll never understand this mentality. You're getting to play college football and a degree. Stop throwing your lives away for trying to be the tough guy.

So some more details are being released. I wondered why there was such a big delay in the incident and charges.

There is a lot more to the UK Football story. It all stems from a fight at a UK fraternity party off-campus.
This happened last Spring and UK investigated it and the players were cleared to return to the team.
I will have more on this later tonight

As I understand it, there was a fight at the frat party between some students and the UK Football players
The players were told to leave the party after the fight and did. When they returned and entered back in, that became the basis for the burglary charge

As many of you know, I have been harsh in my comments about various UK coaches/players and off the field issues
There is more to this story than is simply in release and while it is newsworthy, I would caution folks to wait for more information to come out before final judgment

Part of the reason this has taken so long to come out is I think there was a genuine split among Lexington police as whether to charge....at one point I didn’t think there would be any charges.
But an investigator did decide to charge..I would bet a few will be dismissed soon

Kirby needs to take some notes from Stoops.

Stoops - “I am aware of the situation that arose today. Out of respect for the legal process, I cannot comment on the charges. We have been aware of this matter since March, as we withheld the players from team activities while a student conduct review was held. Based on the outcome of the review, the players returned to activity in June. We are evaluating the current situation as we receive more information.”
