Cry a fricking river bro.
Aldon Smith, Markus Golden, Shane Ray, Sheldon Richardson, Isiah McGuire, Kony Ealy, Charles Harris and the list goes on and on with high draft picks from the defensive line since we’ve joined the SEC.
Not only do we churn more first and second round draft picks at the edge, but we’ve done it with them being 3*’s and lower.
Oklahoma had a history of taking 5*’s on defense and turning them into non NFL players.

Good luck to the kid no matter where he goes. When one thinks of all the work they put in starting at a young age. And the chances for injury or many other obstacles. Its their day to achieve something big and to help their parents who have sacrifised along the way.
I am always happy for them no matter who they pick. We all want them on our team, of course. But in the big scheme of things they are 16-18 year olds making decisions without the benefits we adults have from years of experience. They may make a different decision than we would, but again they are young.
With NIL it has changed and Dec is the real date to worry about. Most who commit stay but not all. For OU we’ve had a HC who regressed every year in charge (LR) and BV is rebuilding, so I’d love to have the kid. But based on his time at Clemson we’ll get back to top with or without this kid. We’d be better with him no doubt. But we’ll rebuild regardless his decision.
Good luck to him and I wish him the best no matter what he does.

Dude...glass houses and all...OU's NFL rate with 5-star recruits is one of, if not the worst of any P5 program. Your track record of 5 star failures has much more weight to it than Mizzou's.

Wish we had a recruiting board for this kinda shite. Wait…

Each year the choice of the number one college recruit in the nation is followed quite closely. Traditionally much is written by sportswriters covering CFB in advance about the impending decision. Entire websites exist to speculate on this very thing. The actual decision is often carried live. This year is no different. So in answer to your question, a lot of people care.
Strange that you don’t know any of this.

The development argument is a hilarious take from Oklahoma fans given that Mizzou and OU have had the same number of DL's drafted in the last 5 years with OU having a ton more raw talent to work with.
Look at nfl and how many OU puts in we have a recruiting average of about 7-10 every year not 1-2 . Think we have 7th in nfl and which is about right so we produce more nfl talent than Missouri does no matter how you slice it .

What are you doing posting this info on here? Tweet this at Nwaneri! He needs to hear this so he can choose OU!

Even if he commits to OU, I’m taking the moral victory here. OU fans really showing their asses this week.

Strange, you don't post this where it goes.... on the recruiting board. It's not hard to understand.

A. I didn’t start the thread
B. I replied to YOUR post
C. You have posted more in this thread than I have
Y’know, you’re right. It isn’t hard to understand!

Someone early in the thread (maybe you) said rather hastily that he would be committing to Mizzou. I simply pointed out that if he does that, he could very well be choosing a huge pile of money (ridiculously huge) to play for a school with a teeter-tottering coaching staff who is standing out on a limb with 3 losing seasons in a row. And that he could eventually sign with Georgia (or OU/whoever) and not even play a snap for Mizzou.
None of that is a lie, nor is it an insult. It is reality and kind of reflective of how goofy this NIL money is affecting the sport we all love.
Good luck either way!

Despite your inability to form a sentence, I believe I was able to decipher your points... they just aren't good. Yeah, I know OU has a high recruiting ranking ever year. That's kinda my exact point. OU gets a ton more raw talent than Mizzou does out of high school, yet in the past 5 years, Mizzou has gotten the same amount of DL players drafted, which would suggest that Mizzou has actually done a better job of developing DL talent in that time. Obviously OU has more players in the NFL. When you have high 4 and 5 stars starting at every position, you SHOULD be putting more DL in the NFL. Over recent history though, that hasn't been the case on the DL.

Missouri seem pretty confident that they get him. Hopefully he won't pull the old switheroo like so many have done with UF when we get outbid for someone.

It's very possible, but somebody heard something very substantial yesterday that caused like 10 futurecast/CB's to start rolling in from team publishers and national analysts, predicated by Steve Wiltfong who is a notorious percentage defender.
