5 reasons why lsu might lose to auburn

1. Brian Harsin had got his swag back after a dramatic big win over Mighty Mizzou. Auburn has a new breath of life in them and they’re ready to rumble!
2. Jordan Hare Voodoo: no explanation needed
3. Overlooking a shaky auburn ahead to a big game against ranked Tennessee in Death Valley
4. Auburn might play loose knowing that Harsin is gone. Harsin might call the game loose and throw the kitchen sink out.
5. Brian Kelly hasn’t coached an SEC game on the road and it will be an adjustment period for him. Not an indictment, but it might take time for the alignment to apply in away games

Maybe, but I’ll be cheering for LSU. No self-respecting Tide man would ever, ever, ever cheer for Auburn.

Real talk. If anyone has watched LSU since the 4th quarter of Florida state and watch the games Auburn has played this ON PAPER should be a blowout. As clunky as LSU has looked at times on offense we are ranked #22 in total offense when we stop tripping over ourself. Auburns about as one dimensional on offense as you can get with an OKAY run game being the only legit threat they have. LSUs defense (#12 total defense / #16 scoring defense) on the other hand is almost identical statistically to Georgias defense (#11 total defense / #4 scoring defense) in yards allowed (1031yds vs 1028yds), yards per play (4.54yds vs 4.53yds) and is only slightly behind Georgia in points per game allowed (14.25pts vs 8pts). That's including a very sloppy first half against Florida state as well. LSU should be able to absolutely suffocate Auburn on defense.

At least for one game, Auburn will look like a contender Saturday night. No way Auburn should be counted out.

I am guessing some people (non Auburn) are just wanting Auburn to win so that Harsin sticks around. Auburn is historically bad on offense and defense and we are geared up for probably the worst run of losses in 50 years. LSU 42-10.
