Auburn won't beat Alabama this year mark it down.

Didn't Thor (the big center, I think that was his name) return? I don't see anyway he doesn't start. Loved his athleticism.

Drafted by the Charlotte Hornets

And I'm actually not sure he would've started tbh. Auburn is loaded at 5 & 4 even without him

5:
-Walker Kessler (starter, future lottery pick)
-Dylan Cardwell (future NBA player)
-Stretch Akingbola (Senior, defensive specialist)

4:
- Jabari Smith Jr (1 and done, Top 5 draft pick)
- Jaylin Williams (experienced upperclassman and future NBA player, one of the most underrated players in the SEC)
- Chris Moore (another underrated player, will probably play more 3, especially until Flannigan returns, but more of a physical paint player)

80s was pretty good basketball between the 2.

The way basketball is with freshmen and transfers playing such big roles, it’s hard to predict which teams will play together enough to win. A lot of new talent in the SEC.

Hahahahahhahaha some of y’all must have forgot about Muss in year two with all new players.

It’s year 3. Strong core of 8-9.

Sec Screwed.

Check those 2022 recruits as well boy. About to add another top 20 player and finish with top 3 class

Legit though the SEC is super deep this year

Kentucky
Bama
Arkansas
Auburn
TN

5 legit top 25 teams

Decent team in State.

LSU should be another 8/9 seed like last year so could give us 7 teams in tournament

Rest are just ok

This is a rare year Ala and Aub should both be pretty good at the same time in hoops. Over the years, that has rarely happened.

Isn't that like the sixth seal or something?

Isn't State projected in the bottom half of the SEC this year?

I have not looked because regardless of sport, the trendy thing for lazy sports writers to do is pick MSU to finish dead last in everything. It's always been that way and why people like you are so easily influenced. Not blaming you, you're just going on what you read. We won the west or battled for the west in hoops some years we were supposed to suck according to the experts. For the first time they could be right about our womens basketball though because our new coach seems over her head.

Based upon your smugness, I assume you picked Auburn to be in the 2019 Final 4 back in October 2018?

Dude has completely re-shaped his body. Doesn’t even look like the same player. He looks like a beast and he was doughy AF last year

yep I can vaguely remember the Ala/Aub game Barkley's first year in Tusc. My dad told me to watch the really fat guy that was really athletic. He dunked one and it rocked the whole goal for ahwile. Ala won but it was a struggle, Aub was pretty good after that for sure. Beat Ala in that big SEC Final at BJCC.

I will bet that KY doesn’t make the final four. You want that bet let’s make it slick. That was the point of my post.

Texas basketball is such a disappointment, I learned that back 6th grade when I thought TJ Ford was going to lead y'all to a Natty and then be a legit NBA PG

Ford took them to the Final Four before losing to the eventual champ. Then it was discovered he had a spinal issue that basically ended his career.

The disappointment should probably have been understood when KD and Augustin were blown out by USC in round 2, or when they were #1 in the nation only to end up a loser to Wake in the 8-9 game. Or the time they lost to Nebraska when a win would have put them at #1 again. Or the constant losses to KU in the Big 12 title game.
