im being realistic. this year we more then likely arent going to the ship. schedule is too hard and jj isnt ready. i want to make it to atlanta with a shot at the sec title. this helps us do that.

This loss (if Ole Miss ends up losing) will help LSU two fold. It's an SEC game. Always helps when other teams in the West lose SEC games, especially if they are "tough" teams.
Secondly, we are seeing that Ole Miss isn't that great to begin with. They caught LSU flat after they were drained from the Ole Miss and Troy (yes Troy) games. Those were two tough games. We had our starting QB knocked out, and despite what many think. Lee would've likely shredded that Ole Miss secondary even if he threw a pick or two in the end.
Ole Miss also met an over-rated Texas Tech team. Texas Tech's only claim to fame last season was beating Texas. They didn't do anything else worth a shite that season.
