If you think Henry shouldn't have won, that is fine. To say he didn't deserve it is ridiculous.

He did not deserve it if he didn't win it. The person that won it deserved it and the other guy was the 2nd best.

Everyone can't get the ribbon and win the trophy. Having winners and losers is crucial.

As far as winning the Heisman goes, exactly. As far as winning anything goes, really. Anything worth anything.

The Heisman voters, Doak Walker voters, Maxwell voters, Walter Camp voters, major All-American selectors, and voters for the SEC Offensive Player of the Year (which includes all 14 SEC coaches) respectfully disagree...

Huh? Nowhere is there a mention of the trophy not being meant to be given to a "superior player on a lesser team."

He does and probably should have won it the second week in December. However , if they did the awards after the championship games, which I think they should, he would have finished no higher than 3rd. Mccaffery and Watson are clearly better players.

And to the OP, I do not think he'll have a great NFL career. He did have a great year though.

4 months later, I still disagree. He was the best player on the best team and his stats were certainly Heisman worthy. McCaffrey is excellent as well, though he generally did not face the kind of defenses which Henry and Fournette faced.

You're such a crybaby tiger. He deserved it. Others also deserved it as is the case every year, but Henry won it. Cry me a river.

And something like 60%+ of his yards were after contact, young lady.

Being the best player on the best team in the country generally gives you the benefit of any doubt. Stanford lost too many games and wasn't in the title hunt. However, McCaffery was the best player in the nation (along w LF7) IMHO. We'll see what happens in 2016. Henry was a worthy Heisman recipient. Congrats to the Tide and Henry on an extra special season in 2015!
