The difference between TM7 and DJ Pettway is that TM7 was arguably LSU's best player, whereas Pettway only saw the field in garbage time last season.

Once the DA examines the case, you could see some assault charges added based on the early reports. Don't rush the field just yet.

If the DA is an Auburn fan I'm sure he'll keep the assault charges out of this in order to maintain Auburn's Fulmer Cup points record.

Pettway was a third string player. His loss sucks but we'll be fine. We have a lot of depth at his particular position.

Yep. So it all works out. Wouldn't surprise me if Saban gave Williams the gun.
