How would you like to be one of these guys? OK, you screwed up, maybe you got caught up in a group at the wrong place/wrong time, made a stupid decision, whatever.
Now you have to report to Saban's office at 8:00 AM. Oops. Might want to have a pair of clean underwear handy.

Dude I understand it's a crime and Saban will not have any control over media coverage. I was speaking in terms to whatever his decision is. He can release a simple statement if decides to release the kids. He doesn't have to have a press conference or anything. That's what I was talking about.
I posted or spoke very little on the Cam situation. I'm not one of those Alabama fans. Look at my post history and you will find very little or any post where I'm bashing Auburn or Cam.

It may be incompetence or reduced staffing as opposed to lack of integrity. Lack of integrity would assume they knew about it and failed to report it. Very easily could have just not known about it.

So reporting an arrest 10 mins ago, that happened 2 days ago, is ok in your eyes. It took him getting arrested twice in 2 days before anyone heard anything!

Depends on the charges. Crowell got UGA like 7 pts IIRC, but most of that was for the filed off serial number.

Agreed...Im sure Saban and the sTaff were aware. Someone from the police station knows how to get to Saban and the T-Town news. Im sure their will be a PC soon to address the situations
How did Chizz handle the Auburn 4? Was there a PC done or was theira statement just released to the press?

This is what I'm thinking. The Birmingham News just recently went through a whole lot of staff cuts and the Tuscaloosa News is pretty much in bed with the football program. Kevin Scarbinsky, had he known about the Sunday arrest, would have been all over it.

Press release stating all four were no longer on the team. There was no press conference, IIRC.

Shorty doesn't have control of the media coverage? Every so-called journalist in this state fears for his job if he doesn't suck up to him and bammer. Someone in bammer's side just let this slip before they could sweep it under the rug. If Eddie Williams had been at another school, it would have been headline news THE HOUR IT HAPPENED.
