Florida in 08
Auburn in 10
LSU in 19

In each of the following years, Alabama won the National Championship.

Only losing one game in those three seasons. (Remember 9-6?), going 39-1, with 35 of those wins by double digits.

The only 4 wins that weren't were

09 Tennessee (12-10), LSU (24-15), Auburn (26-21)
11 (none)
20 Florida (52-46)

LSU's 2019 title technically didn't count because Tua wasn't at 100% when he played them.

With a healthy Tua, Alabama wins that game by double digits easily.

There was nothing wrong with Tua for that game.

Also he fumbled and threw a pick. Had nothing to do with his lower body

All the rah-rah Roll Tide talk comes off as insecurity that it's heading towards the end IMO

And two schools (MSU and Ole Miss) who had new coaches all the way around with not great records beat two top 25 teams in their bowl games. Just goes to show the sec is a grind and we finished 6-2 in bowls as a conference.

Tua missed two weeks of practice and hadn't played a complete game in 3 weeks. It was evident as it took him almost an entire half to return to form. Also, your lower body affects your upper body, genius, especially in a physical game like football.

You lose bigly with a healthy Tua, thus, your 2019 title is illegitimate. Sad.

I get it. It’s worse when your team has an illegitimate championship because they played a team that only played a partial schedule and had rules changed for them to qualify.

He completely just dropped the ball on his way to the end zone.

His INT before the half was just a bad pass / read.

Had nothing to do with health.

Tua was injured more often than not so this is a shitty excuse. Bama probably should have kept him on the bench til the playoffs. You all might have won another title.

That same OSU team that stomped #2-seed Clemson in the CFP?

Bama's 2020 title technically didn't count because J Fields wasn't at 100% when he played them

With a healthy Fields, OSU wins that game by double digits easily

LSU fans fail to realize what 20 days of not practicing or working out does to a football player.

Tua played at 75% at best.

Don’t forget that the RB got hurt on the first play.

Thats why players like Tua and most recently Waddle play. They evidently have no backups. I guess its play until you physically can't.

But, it hasn't affected recruiting and the backups are content to sit on the bench. So be it.
