East Texas is way more like the rest of the southeast than it's like the rest of Texas. The Aggies definitely belong in the SEC. They're a better fit than they ever were in the midwestern Big 12. And they're consistently mediocre. Why wouldn't you want them in the conference? They're like the short bus kid who just wants to be liked by everyone.
UT-Austin doesn't really belong in the SEC. You guys don't like us. We don't like you. But we bring eyeballs and higher television revenue, and the SEC gives us a seat at the table in a way the Big 12 was never going to do. I hate the SEC but I'm grateful to be a part of it all at the same time.

We had a great trip to Mizzou when we came. Fans were fun, tailgating was decent and it was a good game with great crowd

I definitely want to go to Baton Rouge to see a game. Hopefully when the conference settles on a new schedule we’ll have more away games there.
