Rightly so, they will have much higher expectations than you guys next year.

Yeah and Texas always makes sure the AC is broken in the visiting teams locker room. Ask LSU.

LSU-Oklahoma the last week of the year would be so sick
Agreed, but no way will they make OU close out the season with back-to-back games against Alabama and LSU

Alabama's close to the season will be especially challenging. The Crimson Tide play at LSU on Nov. 9, at Oklahoma on Nov. 23 and then come back home to face rival Auburn on Nov. 30 in the Iron Bowl.
Holy shite...

A&M will have expectations of a National Championship, until October at least

Enjoy it folks because that will be the last year for many games that are traditionally on the schedule.
The SEC as we knew it, especially the SEC that us older folks knew, is dead.
I know money and power rules all but give me the days of the SEC champion (no SEC title game) going to the Sugar Bowl, the Big 8 champ going to the Orange, The southwest conference champ in the Cotton all versus at large teams and the B1G vs the Pac TEN champ in the rose. On New years day the number 6 team could end up being national champs.

Ok,
Rightly so, they will have much higher, yet realistic expectations.

Next year maybe the first year in awhile where I wasn’t actually thinking “next year is the year!”

7 Wild Card teams have won a Super Bowl.

A 2 loss team in conf will be at the top. It will be different and a loss in conf won’t kill your team like now. Hope they have tie breakers set up really well defined.

Pretty happy UGA/Texas is middle of October and not early September. It gets hot in Austin.
Also, OU/tx game is always 2nd Sat in Oct (12th next year) so they get OU/GA back to back weeks.

10/19 Texas vs Georgia

That’s typical … and was a huge adjustment coming from the B12.
There’s never a down week (after OOC cupcakes).
