I keep saying UNC's luck will run out...and then that throw from outfield happened.

I replayed the replay from the outfield and it looks like he spiked it like he didn't release in time

UNC seems like a team of destiny with all these walkoffs and late game heroics

Vance Honeycutt has been Mr Clutch. Sheesh!

UNC vs FSU will be a great game..

Pitching to that guy should be a firable offense

Why pitch to Honeycutt there with two open bases? He was 0 - 4 today. Their best hitter. Wow!

Why in the world do you pitch to NC’s best hitter with two outs and first base open?

I assume because the guy behind him was 3-4..
They should have walked both.
But to be fair, the top 3 in the lineup are all really good.
1.097 OPS Honeycutt (0-4)
1.051 OPS Cook (3-4)
1.084 OPS Harber (1-2 with 2 walks)
I can see the argument why you would pitch to him..
but I would have walked him and Cook.
If you get out of it, they don't get to bat next inning.

This team has given me several near heart attacks this postseason. It’s been fun though.

Game 1 playing like an offensive graveyard so far
We are just spoiled because the last 2 CWS games had over 20 runs scored.
