I do wish y’all would enjoy your back to back titles and know that the rest of us are happy for you. I don’t remember ever thinking once about where 2019 LSU ranked all time until the media started in on it in the following days and turned out to be right.

I needed that laugh, thanks.

Laugh at this and then we'll know you need a psychiatrist.

Courtesy of DawgNation.....

4,127: The number of passing yards Stetson Bennett had this season. Bennett becomes the first Georgia quarterback to throw for over 4,000 yards in a season.

1,824: Tight end Brock Bowers has 1,824 receiving yards through his first two seasons, the most ever by any Georgia player. He led the Bulldogs in receiving once again, finishing with 63 receptions for 942 yards on the season.

401: The yardage difference in Georgia’s win over TCU. That is the largest margin ever in BCS/College Football Playoff title game.

371: Georgia led the country in first downs with 371.

152: Bowers finished with as many receiving yards as the entire TCU team in the 65-7 win.

81: Georgia scored on 81 of its 83 red zone possessions this season. The 97.6 conversion rate was the best in the country.

77.0: The Georgia defense gave up an average of 77 rushing yards per game. That was the best mark in the country and even better than the 78.9 rushing yards per game the Bulldogs gave up last season.

77: Georgia’s roster is made up of 77 percent blue-chip prospects, meaning former 4-star or 5-star prospects. In the history of modern recruiting rankings, no team has ever won a national championship with a roster made up of less than 50-percent blue-chip prospects.

65: The most ever points scored in a national championship game, passing the mark set by Nebraska in 1995. The Cornhuskers also capped off their second-straight national title as they put up 62 points on Steve Spurrier’s Florida team. The legendary coach probably should send Smart a thank you note as the Gators no longer have the record for most points given up in a championship game

44: Georgia led the country in rushing touchdowns this season with 44. Bennett had 10, Kenny McIntosh had 10, Kendall Milton finished with 8 and Daijun Edwards had 7.

41.1: Georgia averaged 41.1 points per game this season, setting a new high-water mark in Smart’s time as a head coach. In games against teams that finished the year ranked, Georgia averaged 46.5 points per game.

38.2: Georgia gave up 13 red zone touchdowns this season on 34 possessions that got into the red zone. The 38.2 percent conversion rate was second-best in college football.

36: Freshman punter Brett Thorson had 36 punts this season. That is the fewest punts in a season under Smart.

30.9: Georgia’s average margin of victory against teams that finished the season ranked in the AP Poll Top-25.

29: The number of wins Bennett finished with as the starting quarterback at Georgia. The Bulldogs also won 29 games the past two seasons, the most ever by an SEC team in a two-season span.

27: Jack Podlesny made 27 field goals for Georgia this season. The Bulldogs will be looking for a new placekicker as the senior is off to the NFL.

17: Georgia tied the school record for consecutive wins with its victory over TCU. Georgia can break the record in the first game of the 2023 season against UT-Martin.

17: The number of Georgia players who scored a touchdown this season. McIntosh led the team with 12 total touchdowns.

15: The Bulldogs went 15-0 for the first time in school history. Georgia becomes just the third team in the College Football Playoff era to go 15-0, joining LSU in 2019 and Clemson in 2018. Alabama, surprisingly, has never accomplished such a feat.

9: Georgia gave up just nine sacks all season. Of all teams, that is the fewest given up by a team that played a 15-game schedule.

ETA: Duh....here are a few more superlatives......

8: The number of games Bennett did not throw a pass in the fourth quarter.

6: Bennett accounted for six touchdowns in the win over TCU, tying a mark set by Joe Burrow for most touchdowns in a BCS/College Football Playoff championship game.

4: Bennett now has the new high-water mark for most offensive MVP performances in College Football Playoff history. Trevor Lawrence held the previous record with three. Wide receiver AD Mitchell also has a touchdown in all four College Football Playoff games he has played.

3: Georgia becomes the third team since the Kennedy administration to win back-to-back, undisputed national championships, joining Alabama and Nebraska. No team has ever won three-straight undisputed national championships.

2: The number of one-score games Georgia played this season. By comparison, Alabama played five in a 13-game schedule.

1: The number of receptions TCU wide receiver Quinten Johnston finished with. By comparison, Georgia defensive back Javon Bullard caught two Max Duggan passes.

0: Georgia brought in zero players from the transfer portal last off-season. Georgia saw 13 players from last season’s team transfer out and find new homes elsewhere.

2022 UGA WOULD SMOKE 2019 LSU

We're trying very hard to; however, you LSU fans seem hell bent on drumming up the ghosts of the past as a comparison due to LSU being out of the spotlight for what seems to be an eternity.

We don’t think this is even a debate so I’ve never really seen it brought up unless it’s a response to some Georgia fan claiming they are the best.

2019 LSU team routes 2022 Georgia.

1) LSU plays in the SEC West
2)They blew out Trevor Lawerence Clemson. Not TCU who lost to Kansas State.

You know you’re the best team ever when every team who wins a title since 2019 is compared to 2019 LSU

Well sure. Most of those LSU players are in the pros. They’d be ineligible to play.

Duh.

It’s not worth entertaining this dumb thread. I recall UGA’s defense being salty in 2019 and LSU still ran and threw on them like a hot knife thru butter.

They can assume all they want, but this UGA was not better than 2019 LSU or 2020 Bama.

In another 10 years no one will remember this UGA team because they blew out a really bad BIG12 team.

"Back to back" is something that everyone will remember. This might be the best SEC run over 2 seasons. EVER.

That D was not close to good enough to account for how shitty the O was. Bennett was way better than Fromm. Be thankful for that.

Lmao you’re an absolute fool. OSU put up 40 on y’all. LSU could’ve named the number on your shite secondary and the defense was really fricking good at the end of the year. LSU something like 51-20

This topic is straight facts, in case you haven't heard here are some more...

Back to back, most points in championship history, biggest blowout in championship history, biggest blowout in any bowl ever, top 5 offense and defense, beat 7 ranked teams, Average: +29.4 Scoring Margin against final top 25 teams(which is the highest of all time) all this in a rebuild year after losing 15 players to the draft and 13 to the portal. Best of all time and it's not even close!!!
