2022 UGA would've beaten 2019 LSU

It would've been a shootout, but UGA's D would've given more than ample separation to secure the win.

2019 LSU had a great offense, one of the best ever -- but, they had absolutely little to no D for most of the season.

2022 UGA - 44
2019 LSU - 28

That's no lie.

Georgia fans seem very desperate to convince themselves of this today.

Why can't you just enjoy your title, man?

2022 LSU threw for 500 against Georgia.

2019 LSU might’ve gone for 1000.

Personally I don't think so. Imo 2021 Georgia defense with 2022 Georgia offense would've won. But this year's defense didn't strike like the 2021 defense. Burrow wouldn't have wiggled out of the pocket against the 2021 defense, but he would have against this year's defense.

We're trying very hard to; however, you LSU fans seem hell bent on drumming up the ghosts of the past as a comparison due to LSU being out of the spotlight for what seems to be an eternity.

Sorry.

Probably because they know that if Bama had Metchie and Williamson last year, they lose. Probably lose if Harrison Jr doesn't get rocked this year

The score was 35-10 at halftime buddy. LSU had less than 200 yards of total offense. Georgia shut it down in the second half. Get over it.

Ask Clemson about that LSU defense

The new one this week is "but our television ratings were better!"

An LSU fan didn't make this thread.

It's also interesting that you claim 2022 Georgia would hold 2019 LSU to less points than 2019 Georgia did when 2019 Georgia had a far better defense.

Unironically 63-34 LSU. Great season for Georgia but 2019 LSU is the eternal goat.

There is no defense on the planet that could have defended against Burrow, Chase and Jefferson. Those guys were already NFL ready by 2019.

2019 LSU beats 2022 UGA by 17 points.

And 2019 LSU didn't have to pull their semi-final out their arse and then face a Pop Warner team in the "championship game".

I mean Stroud and Harrison Jr were going in dry on that Georgia secondary, imagine Burrow with Chase and Jefferson lmao

As serious as winning two -- 2 -- national championships in-a-row!

Kiss the ring, Tigahs.

This is what happens when you blow out the shittiest team in the CFP playoffs. You have to convince yourself how good you really are.

Hint….it only gets worse with time. In another 10 years no one will remember this UGA team because they blew out a really bad BIG12 team.

Nah. 2021 UGA seems like a better matchup than 2022 tbh. They’d only lose by 10 or so. 2022 wouldn’t be within 14.
