If Toledo is the biggest trap on our schedule then that's one unconvincing trap.

This an odd pick considering Ed O has a losing record against Florida as a head coach. If anything the UF game is a trap game

If this is the case, why would LSU overlook Florida?

I don't think you understand what a "trap game" is...

Enh, I don't think so. Kentucky has had a better team then us for the last couple of years. I don't see us over looking them.

My pick for Arkansas would be San Jose State. We have two big games right before we play them with Ole Miss (the second week of the season is a lousy time to play our second biggest rival in the SEC) and Colorado State. Right after them we get A&M.

A young team could lose their focus in that game and step on their peckers. Considering we do not appear to have a large margin of error to win games going into the season that concerns me.

Can the first game of the season vs a nominal rival really be a trap game?

I could see it being a game that SC could lose but like you said, not really a trap game.

My pick for a potential trap game would be App. State. They tend to have sneaky good teams there and y'all get them late in the season between two SEC games.

Arkansas is never a trap game. It's Malzahn's super bowl. If he cared as much about the rest of the games as he does that one, he wouldn't be on the hotseat right now.

That's not what I think of when I hear trap game. Trap game is a game that turns out being a much harder win than it should be (or a loss when it shouldn't be). UF always has the ponies to run with LSU. That's not really a trap game IMO.

Ole Miss, and MSU have been some pretty good trap games for us the last decade or so.

No trap game for Ole Miss? I guess we can't have a trap game if we have no confidence in beating any team we face

anyone that plays @OM it is a trap. Don't go. No need to spend money on a game you know you will win. Don't give oxford your money.

Yeah that's a tough spot after FL and before heading to Auburn. MIZ on bye week before.

Should be interesting.

Huh? UK is the better team. That’s not how trap games work.
