The SEC team with 4 straight trips to the CWS says your list is Bullshite!

You guys win one title and let it go to your head. Almost as bad as Arkan... oh wait they dropped the ball in the finals nevermind

Auburn will be more talented throughout next year but probably be about the same type team. Could make CWS but don't expect it. It's the following season that is lining up for AU to be a true threat.

Vandy should make Omaha every year. Their scholarship advantage is criminal.

Get 11.7 just like the rest of you.

Oh, so you guys can't put anyone on scholly based on need? my mistake

I don't see State or arky having the pitching next year. My 3 teams for Omaha are LSU, Vandy, and OM.

Hate to say it, but Ole Miss likely takes a step back. Friday and Saturday starters taken in the first and fifth round (respectively), CF graduates, C taken in the 4th round, couple relievers graduate. May be more, can’t remember who else was a senior.

Can you not use other scholarships and financial aid to supplement?

Look it's not against the law, but it's clearly an advantage. I'm no expert, but my understanding is that you have marginal students on "academic" schollys that just happen to play baseball. Is that not correct?
Tell me if I am wrong.

Common misconception. Opportunity Vanderbilt provides need-based financial assistance to all students that quality. It is not an academic scholarship. Because it is need-based, not everyone receives assistance and families still have to provide a sizable amount of the cost (current annual cost for Vanderbilt is $67K).
What is USC doing to defray the cost of attendance and reducing their contribution to the student debt bubble?

I feel like 95% of the country would financially qualify for a "needs-based" scholly to Vandy

I didnt mention that title, just the fact that UF has been to the CWS 4 straight years. What about LSU?

I think Campbell will probably return for us, as he didn't show any consistency throughout the year. Reliability would drastically increase his draft stock next year, since the stuff is clearly there when he's on.
By most accounts we'll be losing Lee which was an arm and potential DH candidate for next year.
Loseke probably goes...
With some of the bats coming in we could possibly maintain this year's offensive output (or even improve it), but pitching we won't know till next season.
Wasn't South Carolina young this year? That's a team I could see making it next year... really impressed with the new coach.

Gonna be a homer here and say Ole Miss. Offensively, we return everyone except for Nick Fortes, who will be replaced by Cooper Johnson. Jacob Adams will be gone, but we have Anthony Servideo to replace him (better offensively).
EDIT - we also lose Will Golsan. Ryan Olenek returns, so he'll probably move to CF and then Tim Row would play RF.
Our starting pitching will be different next season, and will probably look like:
Ethridge (3-1)
Fowler (7-0)
Roth (5-1)

Has Olenek said he's returning? I would be surprised by that move... he'll lose all signing leverage even if he goes off offensively next season.

Damn, he's gotta be close to retiring with full benefits from the state by now
Didn't he hit behind Kary Bridges back in '91-'92?

Maybe he figures the signing bonus won't significantly impact him one way or the other. Liked him as a Giant's fan.
