Virtually all of Alabama's offensive (10 of 11) and defensive (9 of 11) starters are on the All-SEC Teams.

These things always tend to have an Alabama/Auburn lean given they have the largest media presence in Hoover.
How is the leading tackler in the SEC from last year (Harris - Arkansas) not a 1st team preseason selection?
From an LSU perspective, these seem about right. Kristian Fulton's preaseason awards are all over the place. I've seen him as 1st team all-american and 3rd DB in the country. Then I've also seen him not even make lists.

# of tackles isn't necessarily the best indicator of best defender, even at LB. Might just mean you couldn't get the other team off the field. Arkansas was 79th in total defense and 108th in scoring defense last year.
