To be fair, when A&M and Mizzou joined all it did was cause the scheduling to go back to the more traditional way of hardly ever playing some schools within the conference. Isn't the best thing about the SEC ALL THE TRADITIONS?!?!?

Considering Texas and UGA has no history its weird seeing a UGA fan call Texas teasips, that word is reserved for a&m.
But i did find this head to head record

Prior to '12 expansion we played the other west teams (besides AU of course) home/away every 5 years.

02/03 bama
03/04 lsu
04/05 arkansas
05/06 msu
06/07 ole miss
then repeat

No different than tSECr glomming onto the sips’ moniker for the Ags, aggy.

I cannot stinkin’ wait for A&M/UGA.
I’m all over that trip.
Our squad won’t yet be where we want them to be, but it’ll be a fun matchup anyway.

UGA is one of if not the most underachieving football program of all time. Only one natty is sad.

That's OK....we still killed those National Title hopes for Texas at the 1984 Cotton Bowl.

It’s ridiculous. I’m going to that game though...supposed to be a GREAT atmosphere and I know a bunch of A&M fans.......good folks despite being Texans for the most part. Should be a good weekend. Depending on the date I’ve got dove shooting, duck or goose hunting and fishing access.....if it’s early enough the Tarpon will still be around!

Hopefully late September. I’ve got a buddy who still runs cattle on Galveston and one of his pastures is one of the best dove fields in North America....early enough in September and he has some tanks that will be covered up with Teal. And the trout and redfish will be under birds all over west bay......can’t wait!

Always thinking about Texas. Some things never change at A&M. Get over it. You were allowed - despite the wishes of most of the SEC - to join the best conference in the nation. You will never be top dog in the state of Texas no matter how much money you spend. You have one thing and one thing only to hang your hat on and that is your SEC membership. Forget Texas and worry about the next beating your team is going to suffer from the rest of the SEC

Don't know where you get your info but you are wrong. Pretty good coming from a team that hasn't been relevant in years. That #1 ranking Didn't last long did it? And we all saw why there was an improvement in recruting and game re$ults. Those NCAA sanctions should kick in hard soon enough

Already making excuses to losing to Georgia next year, huh? You guys will never be where you want to be...just saying. See ya in Tuscaloosa. Hope you are ready for this game.

Man, I'd hate for you to have to miss the opportunity to see Georgia come to Aggy for first time in 12 years...cause you have to go shoot a duck.

No excuses at all.
But next year, I’ll be stunned if Georgia isn’t the better team.
It takes several years to build a program, and Georgia is farther along that path right now.
