Poor Tennessee gets both Alabama teams

They really can't catch a break.

Alabama has defeated Tennessee 11 consecutive times, with an average margin of victory of 24.5 points.

Auburn has defeated Tennessee 6 consecutive times, with an average margin of victory of 13.2 points. Auburn has not lost to the Vols since 1999.

Hadn't noticed it before, but the west teams all have home games. I expect that will raise a few eyebrows.

Why? It rotates every year.

So only 15 years between trips to Tuscaloosa for South Carolina?

That's because all of the permanent games have the West on the road:

Alabama at Tennessee
Arkansas at Missouri
Auburn at Georgia
LSU at Florida
Ole Miss at Vanderbilt
Miss. State at Kentucky
Texas A&M at South Carolina

In 2019, the West permanent games are at home and the rotationals are on the road. Easy premise to understand.

Vanderbilt at Arkansas

You get it in 2019 when LSU travels to Vandy.

When UGA going to play those Aggies? We played them in bowls but I don’t think we have played since they joined the conference

Florida has always had trouble playing in Starkvegas. Pencil in a MSU victory.

Maybe you should try winning the East.

Very true... but your anniversary is going to come around every single year at that time until death or you decide to split the sheets... And it won't make a damn what game happens to be on that weekend...

I wish they would get rid of the permanent cross division opponent. While I'm grateful that A&M drew South Carolina, I'd rather play the other East teams more often.

I disagree.

I wish they would get rid of the permanent divisional opponents. I could care less about playing Vandy, UK, Scar, and Missouri every season. Those are the games that we need fewer of.
