I hope it doesn't get stupid. College sports are getting out of hand. As an out of stater who doesn't give a hoot about what is going on in Mississippi I can tell you the in state fanbases need to have some kind of get together to hug it out.

Not really. Relations between the rank and file, season ticket buying fans are the same as ever.
The shadow governments of both schools need to calm the F down though. OM's power players are battling MSU cigar boys and the younger, more firey rebels in their own system. There is some real cases of red-arse going on in Eastover and some feelings may be hurt for a long time. That needs to be fixed as it's no good for either school.
Both institutions need to flush their media systems and get the internet wars under control

Let's just say that no booster, from any school, ever wants to see somebody publically tarred and feathered. Makes for a lot of nervous energy.

MsState wins 70-0. I hope our administration understands the gravity of this game and makes sure there is extra security. I fully expect OM fans to try and kidnap our women and pillage our village.

Man I am more of an Ole Miss fan just about more than your normal fan. And admitting this does kinda hurt, but I would put MSU up against Tennessee any day of the week and bet on them winning. Just because y'all have more "stars" doesn't mean crap.

So last year your defense was awful because the linebackers were the worst I've ever seen in the SEC. This year to fix that you brought in a shitty recruiting class and went to a scheme that features more linebackers with a DC that has coached for nearly 30 years and never been offered a DC job. That should shore that defense right up. You're not going to be worse because that would probably be impossible, but you're still going to be awful on defense.

We literally have twice as many 10 win seasons as Ole Miss in that time frame. You've never won 10 regular season games. Ever. Also since 1998 OM has put up these records:

And im sure the near future will look pretty similar. You know, the NCAA and all that.
