Iron Bowl no questions.
Ended Bamas run. Going for 3 straight.
Top 5 matchup, arguably biggest rivalry in sports.
Most improbable ending possible.
Debated as best game of all time.
Nick Saban lost to first year coach.
AJ McCarron Heisman on the line.
Best atmosphere in college football this year.
SEC and NC implications.

The ending was obviously the GOAT, but it was one hell of a game too

No question really that the Hail Mary was the MORE IMPORTANT play for Auburn this year... without it, UGA wins the game right there and Bama is crowned SECW champs... regardless of whether Davis's return happened or not, Bama is likely wins the SECCG and is in Pasadena.
All Davis's return would've accomplished is putting Bama in WHITE jerseys instead of CRIMSON for their game against FSU.
even if davis doesn't run it back, there's still a good shot AU wins in OT.

Mizzou vs South Carolina double OT game deserves an honorable mention but the answer is Auburn/Bama

1) Auburn/Alabama
2) Auburn/UGA
3) MU/USC

Iron Bowl one of best ever because of the implications of the game. But if you think about it there were lot of great games or at least great finishes other than the four listed.

Georgia? Can you be any more of a homer?

Ole Miss @ Vanderbilt.
It's been a while, but it doesn't change the fact that that game was a thriller.

Case in point: If AU doesn't get that Hail Mary, the win against Bama is irrelevant
I see what you mean but I disagree. For the Auburn program, beating Alabama this year was going to be big regardless of what it led to. It is a testament to how far they have come.

Iron Bowl in a landslide.
Lots of great games this year, but obvious answer is obvious.
