Didn't you? Undeserving of our poll finish this season because of our loss to you. Remember?

Miles at 9 seriously? So be it. He's at his best when he's doubted.

you are right - I should have qualified it as the best record since 1950
better than jimmy johnson among others
Johnson was also there a year longer. Another 7-5 year for Miles and he ends up behind Johnson.
OSU coaches win pct.
Lynn Waldorf- .735
Mike Gundy- .662
Dave Smith- .636
Paul Davis- .635

Absolute worst when he is favored.

I'll get right on that, in the mean time tell me the all time LSU series record against: UAB, Army, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Tennessee, Texas, and Santa Clara.

Miles was roughly as successful at 2nd tier Oklahoma State as Houston Nutt was at 2nd tier Arkansas. Coincidence?

Ohio State,Notre DameWV and Aggies beg to differ.
Now tell me how those SEC teams took turns thumping those powerful Hogs in their SWC days.

Waldorf (1929-1933)
Davis (1909-1914)
Lookabaugh (1939-1949)
those three had better winning percentages - but that happened before modern college football with separate offense and defense and integration.
RE: your Jimmy Johnson argument... if my aunt had balls she'd be a member of your family
I think you are wrong on Smith btw - the reference I see has him as a one year coach with a 6-5 record in 1972 (worse than Miles and not much of a sample size)
And Gundy has done well but T Boone has been a game changer for Ok State since 2005. If T Boone had been doing that in 2003 or 2004 I'm not sure LSU could have lured Miles away from them.

I'm surprised you'd equate Ok State and Arkansas.
