Ask him what? Why Gundy >>>>> Miles?
Miles has 5 Bowl wind at LSU. Hogs only have 9 in their history.

How about '68?
LSU lost to Bama which resulted in a 1-1 record for the year. Arky got her 9th bowl win!

In 1968 we finished 10-1 and beat UGA in the Sugar Bowl.

a 3rd place finish (where CBP always ends up) in the other.

Houston Nutt at a better program with better assistants should know all about finishing third in the West. He did it in 2010 and was looking up at Bobby Petrino.

Nutt left CBP in fairly good shape.

Miles wasnt gift wrapped elite in state recruits at OSU, hence the mediocrity. he cant develop inferior talent.

4-7 = 4-7.

I mean I'm sure those Cotton Bowl losses to Ole Miss and Alamo losses to Ohio State is what propelled Gundy's team to being the second best team in the country last year...

I give up. I literally said the EXACT number of players in the quote that you responded to. And that didn't include Tulsa. You must have failed reading comprehension miserably in school.

Give me the exact number for each year for each school.I know the answer!

Gundy didnt have a problem winning big there

T Boone Pickens started giving big money to Ok State in 2005 (165 million then) and has continued

This is intended to be a game changer for Ok State as they have traditionally just not been competitive with OU or other powers and he wanted to change that.

When Miles left Ok State he had the best winning percentage of any coach to ever coach there - he did very well in converting a sub .500 team into a team that was a predictable bowl team and split their series (2-2) against a much better Stoops OU program while he was there.

Can we dismiss all Nutt/Crowe/Ford years at will to fit an argument? Pick and choose of course...

TIA

Mile left the program the same way he found it, shitty, he used up all he could of OSU like a parasite until he could latch himself to and feed of a more attractive host.

Mike Gundy has built the program on a sound foundation, finally restored their presence to where it was when he played there.
