And how tough was Bama's 6 game SEC slate in those title years? Not any tougher than a SWC schedule.
Must have been because Hogs have been irrelevant since joining SEC.

So it took LSU 4 years after the SEC split into divisions to figure out that the SEC split into divisions?

The only undefeated season in LSU history consists of wins over Tulane, Rice, Hardin-Simmons, kentucky, Duke, Miss State, Miami.

Tough shite, eh?

In '70 a fluke desperation pass was tipped and caught with Aggies getting the win as the Tiger defender went down allowing the Aggie to score.

Awesome.

Florida's only memorable year prior to the 90s was erased from the record books due to cheating, they were a less successful version of SMU...

I love how you keep picking arbitrary things to try to base your argument around. Are you seriously trying to make the argument that Miles had as much success at Oklahoma State as Petrino has at Arkansas? I just want you to openly admit that so I can go ahead and put you in the "moron" category. That being said, you still aren't accomplishing anything because Petrino has beaten three top 10 teams while at Arkansas compared to 2 for Miles at Oklahoma State. Oh, and over the last 4 years over 25% of 3*+ that came out of Oklahoma signed in-state. That is pretty significant imo.

Once again, how many Oklahomans sign with OU and OSU per Rivals or Scout?

Enough for OSU to assemble a team that was better than LSU last year.

The list is joke. Dont' have issues with nick at #1 and Bobby at #2. Miles at 9. Guy is 75-18 with 2 sec titles and coached in two national titles. Stoops, Chip and I am 40 are ranked too high imo.

Dude, do u know anything about SEC history?

There were years where SEC teams played 5, maybe 6 conf games in a season. Up and into the 80's I might add. 7 games was common

In 1968, LSU goes 8-3, with only conference wins over Mississippi State and Kentucky, only conference losses to Alabama and Ole Miss, and loses to a 5-5 Miami team 30-0 (when Miami was really bad), then turns around and beats FSU by 3 in the Peach Bowl.

That's some weird shite.

Learn to read. I'm not going to continue holding your hand through this. Over the last 4 years, a little over 25% of 3*+ recruits out of Oklahoma that signed somewhere stayed in state.

It is based on a 5 year plan. Saban, Petrino, and Meyer have turned multiple programs around in that time period.

Gundy has proven he can do something Miles couldn't, win at OSU.

Stoops took over a bad OU program and has had them consistently competing.

Chip took Oregon to their greatest heights in program history.

Saban did turnaround LSU, but Bama wasn't exactly Vandy when he came to T-town in 2007. Good points on Petrino, and Chip. Stoops I have never been truly sold on granted he is winning./

According to Rivals:

2008
17 3*+ signed somewhere
5 of them stayed in Oklahoma

2009
37 3*+ signed somewhere
12 of them stayed in Oklahoma

2010
30 3*+ signed somewhere
6 of them stayed in Oklahoma

2011
23 3*+ signed somewhere
4 of them stayed in Oklahoma

That equals 27 players out of 107, which is slightly over 25%.

Would you like me to spoon feed you and change your diaper now?

It's also important to note that a majority of the players that stayed in state were the top players in the state for that year. Many more would have signed if given offers. That further goes to show how much better the recruiting is in Oklahoma that both teams are able to get a lot of top players out of Texas as well.

Hopefully now that the SEC has their foot in Texas, it would help improve our recruiting in Texas as well.
