Just looking ahead to this game, it should be a good one...

Few points to make (got my depth chart from Rivals):

On Clemson: They return all playmakers (Andre Ellington, Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins, Tahj Boyd, Mike Bellamy, etc...). The only major one they lose on offense in Dwayne Allen, who will be a high draft pick. However, they also lose 3 starters on the OLINE and 3 starters on the DLINE. This could be the key to the game. Can they hold up in the trenches?

On Auburn: They return all starters outside of Neiko Thorpe, Eltoro Freeman, AJ Greene, Mike Dyer, and Brandon Moseley. Neiko and Eltoro can be replaced easily, as can AJ Greene. We have a pretty good stable of backs, and while they won't be as good as Dyer, we'll be fine there. Replacing Moseley won't be easy but I'm sure we'll find someone. Plus, we also hired BVG and he should help out the defense a lot before the first game. However, who do we start at quarterback?

I know we haven't hired an OC yet, but how does everyone see this game going ATM? The OC should be hired any day now I would hope... Thoughts, opinions, etc...? I'll hang up and listen.

Im tired of playing CU. I want to play more PAC teams for our OC games.

The thing that Auburn will have going for them heading into this game will be that their offense will be a complete mystery.

Clemson will take at least a quarter and a half to figure it out, and by then, Auburn could have them in a hole.

If Frazier develops as a passer in the offseason and BVG teaches tackling, Auburn will be solid heading into next year, and this could be the perfect game to build early momentum.

Unfortunately, my way too early prediction has Clemson winning.

Honestly I would pick Auburn. I thought they were overrated when they were on the undefeated streak and I was proven right during the end of the season.

I mean you'd only be right every year. It's Clemson.

just review Clemson's games against NCSU and South Carolina and you see how to shut down Clemson. they lost to West Virginia because their defense fell apart. I don't expect much to change before next Sept.

We are talking about Clemson. They have to be the best school at doing less with more talent ever.

Clemson 41
Auburn 13

Shaky OL, no proven RB(ex.106lber) and what I expect to be abysmal QB play.

Is Trotter returning?

It's early, but looking at it subjectively as of now, I see Clemson winning.

Just too many question marks for Auburn, at least Clemson has a core of talented playmakers returning. They'll have a pretty experienced back 7, and even when Clemson has talent on the DL, it seems to under perform anyway.

And I'd chuckle if Victor Beasley ends up as the starting TE against Auburn...

That wouldn't be any of that Bama bias coming through would it?
