I would favor Clemson because of the massive edge at QB.
I wouldn't be too confident about it though. It's still Clemson, their defense will probably be shitty, and Van Gorder may make some quick improvements to a defense which on paper should be at least a little better next year even if they had kept Roof.

Our lack of defense made the biggest difference in that game. If they show up, who knows?...But I agree about us having more unknowns which will mean more ppl picking against us.

Right now, Clemson.
Sammy Watkins, Ellington, Boyd all coming back.
Just depends on who their new DC will be.
Auburn's defense and QB is still questionable.
If Kiehl can become a proficient passer, and if this new DC can improve the Auburn defense, then Auburn will do well next year.
If they have to rely on Trotter.......

sorry joeybh to hurt your feelings but the fact is au,s defense was terrible last year, just because you have players coming back doesn't = better with the same bad players , plus you have no idea if bvg will make that much of improvement in the first game / first year running his system. meanwhile clemp should be improved on offensive that dominated the same players at au.
on offense au will slide without Gus, dyer and without an qb with talent/experience.

Until auburn gets any type of decent QB play, I can't see them winning a game like this. They refused to let Frasier throw downfield. There has to be a reason why.
