And yet y’all still have a losing record to Arkansas.

Just think, it took one of the worst decades in Arkansas football history for A&M to catch up.

Pigs and Cocks will NEVER be SEC. Y’all will always be new kids on the block, just like us. Embrace it and you’ll have a lot more fun.

You are nothing more than the oldest child of the blended family. Older than us, but not one of them. Never will be.

The sooner you accept this the sooner you’ll accept that you aren’t even in the top half of the new adds. That’s reality.

Truthfully, I don't think it's been quite the same since Sewanee, Tulane, and Georgia Tech left the conference.

And with our first SEC wins, both OU and TX will pass Sewanee in total SEC wins.

I do understand they were pretty dominant in the 19th century.

the first win over Michigan was probably the most thrilling bowl win - it's at least up there with the wild 2006 Liberty Bowl win HBC had over Art Briles Houston 44-36 - neither Michigan win is even in the Top 5 best wins in Carolina Football - the 2012 game probably falls just inside T10 at 9 - only because of incredible finish and Clowney's POTY in CFB - Carolina's 1980 win in Ann Arbor during Big George's Heisman season ranks above both of the Outback wins over Michigan -

Yes Arkansas, Missouri, South Carolina and A&M are outsiders politically in the SEC. Oklahoma and Texas will be treated differently.

On the bright side, your 12th place finishes now look slightly better....

Arkansas should have left much sooner for the Big 8.

Your generation ruined this country.

They certainly contributed. They let the Chinese bastards slowly take us over. And ignored the border for decades

At first the SEC didn't want both schools.

Speak for yourself. That was our last year with Houston Nutt enroute to an 0-8 conference record. Our team and coaching staff completely quit. Here's a quick screen shot. We lost to Alabama, LSU, MSU and fricking Vandy by a combined score of 165 to 16.

Yeah. Like we said it was a great year of football

SC and UGA have played one another more times than UGA has played five of the original members.

UGA has played Auburn and UF more than SC. Name the other two still in the league. (Ga Tech doesn't count.)

I’m agreeing with PerrillouxToTexas.

Mizzou/A&M/Arkansas/SCAR are steam rolling Big 10 teams?

SC is 5-0 against Ohio State (2-0), Michigan (2-0) and Nebraska (1-0) since joining the SEC.

Is that steamrolling?

Carolina's 6-1 against the big1t8en while playing under the SEC banner -

2-0 v Michigan
2-0 v Ohio S
1-0 v Wisconsin
1-0 v Nebraska
0-1 v Iowa

pretty sure Missouri just held Ohio S to a FG in the Cotton Bowl this past January too -

so yeah - you've missed some things -

Dammit 1801 you beat me to it plus reminded me about two I had forgotten about until seeing your post.

I remember Wisconsin in the Citrus .... I had forgotten about the loss to Iowa under Spurrier.

Pretty sure one of those Michigan wins included "The Hit" by Clowney and the big comeback overcoming the refs .... not to mention being voted the most exciting bowl game by the ESPN award thingies.
