2004 USC is easily the most overrated teams in a long time because of one game. The rest of their season wasn't that impressive.

I was there and yes they won. My main point was him ripping USC for playing powerhouses like VaTech, when auburn played them and won by 3. I don't have anything against that auburn squad, but USC was unreal. Auburn deserved a shot, but I don't think they were beating USC.

Auburn dominated that game. VaTech scored late because Will Herring fell down on a deep pass.

You do realize that auburn played VaTech in that sugar bowl, right? The team you were mocking with the "powerhouse" comment. And barely squeaked out a win. You look pretty dumb right now.

That game was never close, they scored 2 touchdowns in the last 5 min. after being shut out the entire game.

Frank Beamer said after the game Auburn was a better football team than USC.

You are pretty dumb.

Way to single out 1 out of 5 teams I listed.

Also, that's fine to say you "don't think" they were beating USC. You should have said that the first time. USC was a good football team, so was Auburn.

Anybody making statements of fact, especially that the game wouldn't even have been close, is being foolish.

That Tiger team was amazing. I think they win in a close one.

The 2004 Auburn defense would've dominated that 2011 LSU offense. LSU might've had trouble crossing the 50 yard line again. Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee against the #1 defense? Laughable. At least Auburn had a quarterback that could throw a forward pass. Jason Campbell's senior year was really good.

2011 LSU D could would of shut Campbell down as well as the running game.

You can sing that song for both teams.

Can someone tell me how that 2011 LSU team would've scored on the 2004 Auburn team? Special teams?

Not really. They just ran up the score on shite opponents where Tuberville liked to take his foot off the gas and be conservative.

Go back and look at the rosters of 2004 AU vs 2004 USC. Auburn was easily the more talented and deep team.

Auburn had superior players at QB, RB, WR and arguably OL. The defenses were pretty evenly matched, but Auburn bad the upper hand on offense thus giving them the advantage.

Both were great teams, though. LSU just had the biggest weakness of all...QB.

LSU had the 15th ranked rushing offense in the country.

Points would be had.

LSU was 17 in the country at 35 a game. It's a myth that this team was all Defense.

If Lee is the starter, I'm definitely going with LSU. He played pretty well until the Alabama game and then Miles just lost all confidence in him for some reason. Lee was just never good against Alabama.

The 2011 guys would be younger today, but if game was in 2004 they would be middle schoolers/high schoolers playing against college guys.
