I've been saying negative things about the man for years now, but I can't argue with his track record at this point. Always recruits very well and the players seem to love him. It's really a matter of him getting the right people under him to run the xs and os stuff. It's not that he can't do it, but he's not great at it.

He's certainly the right pick for the LSU fanbase. Sometimes batshit crazy, but he gets results.

Miles is our coach and he wins, so I'm a supporter. He definitely has his share of in-game frick-ups, but outside of gametime i think he's as good as any other coach in the country.

I love the dude. He might F up every now and again but he takes chances that most coaches wouldn't dare. I admire that and actually think he is very intelligent.

A lot of Miles's reputation is that a lot of people don't like winners and want more than really expected of him.

He is a winner. 6-1 bowl wins. 10 game winning season with JJ at qb. Wow. No trouble in the NCAA except some hot shot asst coach. Noplayers arrested or he kicks off his only and best qb that probably cost him at least 8 wins,,,,maybe.

Miles is : a winner, a true tiger by not going to Michigan, better than Saban by being true to LSU and not looking for personal gain and more money, a true family man, and a coach that will be at LSU for years to come........Thanx Coach Miles.....

He's exactly what you need in a head coach: A great program manager. As long as the players love him and he keeps really talented assistants I'd take miles until he retires.

Miles has not blown a 24 point lead in a big game yet.

I gained a lot of respect for him this last season. To win 11 games, with not much of an offense, if pretty impressive. I think he's the best coach LSU has ever had, and I hope he retires here.

for now im with miles. he isn't conventional but he has won. He might not have won as much as i think we should have but i can put that in the past as it looks like other than clock management stuff he has tried to fix his faults which is all i can ask. He has kept our recruiting at a high level and while we have a difficult schedule this year i think next year sets up really well. so as long as we dont have a complete collapse or ole miss 09 situation im completely for miles for at least the next 2 years. I can live with his quirky bullshite as long as it produces another sec and national title

punctuation and capitalization make such long run on sentences or paragraphs more easily readable it sounds like you don't like miles but can't argue with his record so you are reluctantly supportive i think that is a logical approach he has recruited well and won a lot of games which are two of the primary things a coach has to do but i still think he is more a loveable idiot that is getting by some how than a great coach jmo
