Dmac was 100% cheated out of the heisman that year. Tebow is one of the best college football players ever, But for that one season Dmac was better! I dare you to disagree and show PROOF!!! Florida fans especially welcome!!!

Is that the same DMac that led the Hogs to a 7-38 stopping by the Missouri Tigers in which Tony Temple ran for 281 yards and he only ran for 105 yards? Yeah, that guy didn’t get cheated out of anything.

This is the story I always like to tell when this issues comes up.

On 11/04/2007 we just about sealed the Heisman for McFadden given up 321 yards rushing, 1 TD, and even a 23 yard passing TD in a 48-36 loss to Arkansas.

However, the following week on 11/10/2007 we subsequently lost the Heisman for McFadden and won it for Tebow when we gave up 304 yards passing with 2 TDs and 120 yards rushing with 5 TDs in a 51-31 loss. That's right, Tebow was responsible for 7 TDs in a game where they scored 51.

Needless to say, we were in a lot of Heisman highlight reels that year.

Tebow had 55 TDs in 13 games in 2007. Come on. This was just slightly less than Joe Burrow's production per game

McFadden could had Barry Sanders numbers and still lose to Tebow. He was too much of a media darling for him to lose to someone like Mcfadden who wasn't media savvy like Tebow. No one was going to beat Tebow that year.

Darren McFadden would have to play for another school if he had a chance to win it. The marketing job in Arkansas was terrible and it didn't help that McFadden was not well spoken and articulate. It made him look less intelligent compared to Tebow and Smith. It was like the sports media was making fun of McFadden. So he had no chance of actually winning the heisman.

Yeah I was more upset with Troy Smith winning it over him in 2006 than I was with Tebow in 2007. Tebow had a crazy good year. Only thing that sucks was in 2006 the argument as to why he didn't win it was because a sophomore had never won it, and then Tebow the next year wins it as a sophomore

Tebow did have a lot of 1-yard TD runs near the goalline that made up a good number of his TDs but we could have done that with McFadden too if we wanted him to win it bad enough.

That bowl against mizzou was a no show for Arkansas.

Nutt left,Reggie Herring was interim for the game and the players were done.

Many teams could have beat us in that bowl easily.

That year was just a shame.

I believe Dmac should have won and got screwed in 2006.I really can't argue 2007 except for the sophomore crap used against Dmac in 2006..
