MSU defense is better than what the numbers say. A lot of the yards put up against occur during garbage time.

Yes, we know the company line. It's just a shame that Auburn's defense hasn't given up anything in garbage time.

Probably weighs in our favor a little but certainly not much, looks like a pretty solid matchup.

For example, scoring defense jumps up to 30 ppg for MSU. Rushing Defense jumps up to 125 ypg. MSU's total defense goes up, while Auburn's goes down.

To be fair A&M had only 17 until 3 minutes leg in the game. LSU had 10 with 5 min left. Garbage time scores really skew our stats in a bad way... It pisses me off but on a positive note it makes teams underestimate us
