they couldn't even win their division and played in 5 one score games.

the teams leader said they were "nervous" to play on the road against a team they had beat 15 times in a row.

Nick Saban fell off

Personally, I think anyone assuming Bama/Saban are done will be sorely disappointed

Thats why Saban is going to go the Smart path and surround a trash QB with 5 star talent

I remember in 2013 after the Kick Six, Colin Cowherd said football had passed Saban by, Gus Malzahn was the future of college football, Gus would win more championships than Saban and run him out of the SEC. Many here believed it. That was 10 years and three more national championships (and three runner-up finishes) ago.

ya its hopes and dreams for sure. for years weve hoped this coordinator or that one would speed up nicks lake house retirement but that mans deal with the devil must be eternal.

he'll be out there every practice looking like the tales from the crypt skeleton in a straw hat.

Whether you are right or wrong.

Saban is still the best coach of all time.

There's already one of those at OU.

I wont say he is done, but the days of him being able to stockpile 5 stars are over. NIL has killed his biggest advantage.

A 6-3 record in nine championship game appearances in 13 years is underachieving? What do you call wandering in the desert for 40 years and Bama crushing your dreams several times in your backyard of Atlanta? Oh, and do you remember the 2008 “Blackout” game in Athens? I do! It was 31-0 before UGA fans knew what hit them. You’re still 1-7 vs Bama the last eight games. Y’all literally helped kick off the Saban dynasty and kept it going for 12 years!

Alabama seems to have this board very rattled.

They aren't done. But what's going on there with that QB room is scrambling. Otherwise, it makes no sense. If Buchner doesn't believe he has a good chance to start there, he would not have gone and canceled his other visits. They've won championships (2 SEC, 1 national) with QBs that weren't even drafted. But the team surrounding them looked much better overall that what we've seen the past couple of years. I do think there is the possibility of a dip this year before the last couple of recruiting classes put them back at or near the top in 2024.

I feel like that’s the BK path minus the 5 star talent

Brian Kelly had 2 qbs throw for over 200 yards in 1 half vs Georgia last year.

I believe it was 1st, 3rd, and 12th... but who cares. And Bama's issue wasn't the coach, like several other SEC teams, it was the offensive line that kept B Young in 2nd and long and running for his life almost constantly.

Yeah his class this year sucked.
