Man you A&M guys are really salty. Shouldn't you just be grateful for what you have instead of being pissed off about what you don't have?

Hill country watching game day and reading sec rant.

“Validate my favorite team! “

LSU doesn’t need validation.

Just had the best season of all time.

5-5 with no bowl is the "best season of all time"?

You have very low standards.

Did I type this part too fast for you?

oklahoma lost by a field goal

aTm get's trounced by 28 points

oklahoma won the conference

aTm came in 2nd in it's division with 1 less game played (2 really) to the team who came in 1st in the division

is it really not that obvious to you?

I see that you forgot to put the part in there where you lost to a team with a losing record. Minor oversight.

Beat the teams you should.

Which is actually the point I was making.

OU gets lots of fanboy attention for the points. A&M won the OB the same way they did most games: Make up for a lack of WR/QB punch with big, physical line play that wears you down and produces big plays late. There was a time that was considered "real" football.

OU got credit for not getting throttled 52-24.

The team they lost to by less than ten, the ended up beating. The other team beat them by less than ten too.

Did you not see OU on the field vs FL? They were bigger and faster at every position. Their RB Is Derrick Henry 2.0 and didn’t play until the end of the season. They lost close early games because they had a ton of starters missing but once they came back it was a different team. This was a rebuilding year for OU but the eye test says they run over ND and Clemson and A&M Is closer to ND than they are clemson. Would they beat bama? Probably not but I do think they are equal to tOSU right now.

Juuuuust keep winning to earn respect. Had a bang up year this year. No need to to ask for respect, perpetually on this board.

If you can make your case, just state it. But comparing atm to ou this year is a mistake.

Can't say that around here. What you show in the first 2 weeks defines your season, even if one of the opponents turns out to have the best season ever and your lineup includes a shitload of underclassmen starting their second game.

No its not. OU-A&M would have been a good game if that was the matchup. OU might have won, A&M might have won. But to act like OU was flawless, even at the end of the season, is idiotic.

Go re-watch the game against injury riddled 2-7 Baylor in Norman, which was the last game of the regular season. Baylor held them to 269 yards of offense. They were not invincible by any stretch of the imagination.

I know it’s important for you to have my and by extension LSU’s validation, but it’s not coming, buddy.
