further review shows that these teams have repeated more times than LSU and more recently
Alabama
Tennessee
UGA
Florida
Auburn
Ole Miss
Georgia Tech
I may have missed one or two.

Good thing you don’t dwell on LSU.

This stat is surprising. I knew LSU was a couple of tiers lower than Alabama historically, but this is a stat of the historically mediocre.

O just completed the GOAT season....don’t underestimate what he can do. He makes things happen I’ve never seen at LSU.

1908 bruh.
For all the Bama NCs, LSU has been gettin it done for a long time.
And 2019 is something that the LSU-Bama rivalry will never approach

Since the past is soooooo damn important to you people, I'll bite:
And the only SEC school to go 15-0 is ?????????
LSU is one of only a few schools to have 3 consecutive national championship coaches.
LSU is the only school to have a winning season and go to a bowl game in 23 of the last 25 seasons, including 20 in a row.
LSU has the second most national championships in the last 20 years.
LSU is #12 in NCAA victories, and was # 12
"""""""" B E F O R E """"""""
The year 2000. And #7 in bowl appearances....

WOW A PAIR OF ACES THATS FKN IMPRESSIVE
Here’s a fkn ROYAL STRAIGHT FRUSH
National Champ LSU has always Beaten Alabama consecutively
Point 2:
LSU won in 57 & 58 (58 season National Title with Heisman Winner # 20 Billy Cannon)
Point 3:
LSU won in 69 & 70 (Manning beat us to keep us from a Natty in 69. Payback was a sweet 63-17 mauling worse than the 63-29 Oklahoma beat down in 2019. LSU won SEC in 1970!
Point 4:
LSU won in 2003/2004/2005 (2003 Natty)
Point 5:
LSU won in 2006/2007 (2007 Natty)
Notable:
LSU won in 2010/2011 during regular season but lost a National Title rematch. This has no relevance to the November 7 game, unless the Tide somehow manages to make playoffs and a similar 2011 scenario could be possible
Final Point 6:
LSU won in 2019 (National Champs) after losing in 2018. When History holds true, LSU will beat Bama on Nov 7 with 65+ stout LSU lads (defending National Champs) awaiting the also NFL decimated (lost 9+) Gumps on Nov 7.
But that ROYAL STRAIGHT BITCH SLAPPIN FRUSH AINT ENOUGH
You get a bonus to put in your little red Gump wagon and drag back to Tuscaloser

Not to worry, LSU is a record breaking school, so this “record” will fall too.
LSU was the first team to win 2 BCS championships.
LSU was the first team in the CFP era to win the championship as the number 1 seed.
LSU was the first SEC team to go 15-0.
And of course there were host of other records broken by LSU this past season, so telling us that LSU has not repeated since 1936 as SEC champion is no big deal. Just one more record to break.

Come see me when you can 3 peat. 85-87 & 91-93.

I will say a blatant missed call in the 1959 LSU-Tennessee game cost LSU a repeated regular season undefeated season. They lost to the Vols 14-13 the week after the Billy Cannon Halloween Run and the man scored a two-point conversion in what should have given LSU the 15-14 win. It was the first two point conversion attempt in LSU history.
