I mean that was truly unreal. 5 min after the fact I looked at the clock and thought “did they just choke a field goal as fhe clock struck midnight?”

And coincidentally, the kick was 2,023 feet to the left

I actually hate it for that kid. It will be a constant reminder on New Year’s Eve for the rest of his life.

Indeed thats a soul crushing way to lose.

Now I would like a word with Jack Podlesny about his night at the office.

It was a sub-par performance from almost all of the usual suspects, with the WR room stepping up in all the ways they needed to. This is especially shocking given how much of an X factor they were in light of superior performance from the TEs.

That was a tough kick to make. This falls on Ryan Day who should have centered the ball for a down the pike kick. Run it up the middle. Every yard would have counted. Oh well. Sucks to be Ohio State.

Some right-footed kickers prefer the left hash, especially if they have to really drive the ball.

Whether or not Ruggles is one of them, I have no idea.

It might've been easier for Ruggles to swallow if we got a paw on the ball.

Crazy system where two teams full of neanderthals fight back and forth for the entire game, gouging and battling in the trenches then with the last play, they pull a kid off the bench whose uniform wont even need washing after the game and tell him to decide it.

He didn’t catch the kick before clean. Also was a 50+ kick.. a lot to be in a kickers head.

Our guy is pretty dang good and missed two.
