Not sure how I feel about this but looks like he is not interested. Listened to local insider on radio here in OKC. Not going to happen. Now you LSU fans can bash him to oblivion.

Weren’t you the moron who said this was a done deal yesterday?

Shut up. We do not want someone who cannot take care of business in the Easy 12.

ETA: Just a dumbass troll LINK

OU is a better job than LSU. Never understood why he would consider leaving in the first place.

If things are reasonable he's not going to LSU. No doubt. The idea that LSU could make a sensible sub-Jimbo offer to Riley and get him is/was hilarious, unless there is just something about his situation at OU we don't know.

Now if LSU is going to offer him a 7/85 or something like that (which I highly doubt LSU could do) - all bets are off. The money situation is getting stupid.

Of course, OU could see the MSU situation and realize this is a new, dumb world and probably still keep LSU from getting him even if LSU can put together a massive package.

I just hope Riley was properly compensated for being put through such an ordeal.

The stress of the non-offer must have been unbearable.

He’d be a fool to leave. He’s a god in Norman for mediocrity. Why go to a place with actual expectations?

These poor coaches have it so rough.

As terrible as Norman is, it's not as bad as BR. I'm sure this search will have many twists and turns

Never wanted him in the first place. Dave Aranda is the guy but I'm not sure he's even on Woodward's radar.

Aren't you the same one who posted "absolutely no chance Riley turns down LSU" just yesterday?

I said there is no way he would turn down that kind of money. This is coming from my viewpoint. I am no troll. I sort of wish he would take the position but afraid we might go back to mediocrity with the next coach. Question is would you work across the street at Canes Chicken if they offered you $4 more per hour for doing the same thing?

Is that good for OU? I think it’s clear that y’all are a middle of the pack SEC team right now. Somewhere around Kentucky-ish.

A lot of us want his behind out of there. Can't motivate a near 4 star roster to show up and play ball? And if he retains that joke of a DC after the season, I'm out.

Aranda is absolutely a better coach. Riley doesn't know what it takes to win in SEC.

I would move to Pakistan if they offered me the amount of money that LSU offered Riley
