Exactly what I thought. Just a little "bonus pay" for the assistant coach. Boy, was I wrong...
My expectations for him are probably why he has wowed me so much.

Josh Chapman AKA ChappaSlappa holding it down consistently in the trenches. While he was injured. Boss.

M. Dyer. No matter what the score of the game, you could see him laughing and having a good time.

And I was one of those people wanting Sims to win the QB spot before the season. The Akron game changed that in a hurry.

Any LSU fan will tell you it was Jarret Lee.

Melvin Ingram...he definitely got his name out there. It's probably fair to say most people (probably even Carolina fans) didn't know who he was. Now, no one forgets him after they play him

Chapman and Gentry holding down the middle. No headlines, but 2 seniors getting the job done.

Haven't heard a lot about Chapman and the draft. He is listed at 6-1 and 310. He is not huge and he is not particularly "quick" for an interior Dlineman, but and he is very strong. I wonder if he projects more as a NT in a 3-4 or a DT in a 4-3. I know he isn't first round material, but where do people think he will go?
ETA: Also he won't get to fully participate in the combine or any workouts prior to the draft because of his ACL surgery. I'm sure that won't help him either.

Kiero Small....dude barely ever gets the ball. He just loves to block some motherfrickers for our TB.

Kid vastly improved in pass protection this season. Acquitted himself fairly well against the best pure speed rusher in the SEC (Mingo).

LB Sean Porter. Played his arse off on an inconsistent defense all year long and received too little recognition for doing so.
