LSU-Aggie is the easy transition but once Texas returns it’ll return to an intense but secondary rivalry.

Ole miss probably is LSU’s biggest rival but we are uniquely hated by so many that there’s no specific rival believe me all of my Arkansas alum friends hate lsu the most over anyone but I personally love UA and NWA

Arkansas would be Texas or Aggie. Not a made up rivalry like the battle line trophy.

I know, but what's the alternative? I suppose with UT you could swap Vandy for UK and give Vandy to USCe.

Name a more iconic duo: Arkansas and pining over schools that consider them tertiary rivals.

For Georgia, I would want Auburn (I'm a traditionalist, sports-wise). But, I know it's going to be Florida.

LSU/Tennessee
Arkansas/A&M
Vanderbilt/Kentucky
Alabama/Auburn
Florida/Georgia
Mizzou/South Carolina
Texas/OU
Ole Miss/Miss St.

No Big 6/Non-big 6 matchups. Fair and balanced!

?? ?? A&M is no one’s rival. No one cares about playing them. They will continue to sink to the bottom of the SEC under the weight of that Jimbo contract.

I like most of what you put, but swap these. Egg Bowl & Ags v LSU should be preserved if only 1 permanent rivalry.

Fun fact: they are each other's least played opponent amongst the original SEC members, with just 34 meetings all-time. Good work here, Texas fan.

Edit: I guess LSU has played Vanderbilt only 32 times, so I was not quite correct here.

What's that got to do with anything? LSU has no rivals; Tennessee's main rival is already booked with Georgia. Something's gotta give, and giving Tennessee a permanent of Vanderbilt is obviously bullshite.

They're also the two most hated fanbases in the SEC, I suspect they'll cook a rivalry up pretty quickly.

LSU vs. Texas A&M; Ole Miss vs. Miss. State, everything else I agree with

This is Tennessee and even they don't really have 3 real historic rivals. Most teams in the SEC would struggle to legitimately name 2 rivals that anyone cares about. Some would have to stretch the truth even to make a case for one. And now the SEC is going to give us all 3 permanent rivals every year.

That in itself is the biggest SEC joke of all. It simply doesn't exist.

I like this. I don't see it happening given the whole same-state thing, but as much as losing the annual Alabama game would suck this isn't a bad consolation.
