That’s because you have it filtered to only show California…

Lol so you won’t rank your head coach after he’s been there three years?

Do you think that's sufficient to get them from 97th in scoring offense from last year?
In conference play they averaged 16.5 ppg and against ranked opponents they averaged 14.7 ppg. That's asking a LOT for the highest ranked transfer players at two just positions
It is but remember OUs top 6 WRs were injured. Their best wr was a white boy walk on. Add 4 o lineman out, A fired OC in his first year and 2 freshman quarterbacks. I think it's safe to say with Ben Arbuckle at OC and healthy players this year will look a lot different.

It's not the same piss-poor offensive scheme or even the same failed piss-poor personnel from last year so we expect it to make a huge jump, yes.

I definitely don't want BV going 6-7 again. We have to keep him at ou.

He's the #1 RB in the spring portal in both 247 and On3.
Nobody cares about unavailable RBs who already committed elsewhere in the winter portal.

right. that's the joke is everyone is hoping they bounce back and win 9/10 games so OU can give him another ridiculous contract extension, so he never leaves.

So if his team is good, that's a good thing, because it means he'll stay at Oklahoma?
Strategery!

It because nobody, including every publication that’s ranked coaches, thinks he’s an elite coach or even a top 20 coach. So nobody is threatened by him and his 22-17 record. Also 0-3 in bowls.

In that case, Oklahoma should sign the #2 WR in the Transfer Portal as well. Johntay Cook would fit in perfect there.

Not really. The owner of my company is an OU grad and he is constantly being hit up for NIL contributions, specifically by position coaches, just to retain players.

This is laughable. The consensus says OU has one of the top two toughest schedules in the country.

OU hasn’t had trouble getting nil money … they just are not going to overpay for highschool recruits . OU will keep recruiting well but use the portal for areas we need help the most . I hear we want a starter an upgrade at C , Te and another wr if it’s the right guy . We are now cutting players at positions we are upgrading at . The coaches know what they need. Fasusi and Fodge are freshman on the OL but both of them are so good one or the other may end up starting .

He's only been a HC for 3 seasons. We don't care what your "pubuhlications" think.
Those same "pubuhlications" have Manning rated higher than Nussmeier for SEC QBs next year, which is laughable.

That's how NIL works, genius.

By contrast Sark has been there 4 years and is 2-2 vs OU. They should probably fire him.
Posted on 4/15/25 at 6:56 pm to Wishbone85
Sark was a mid HC. His "success" was purchased for him. He'd have to be a special kind of retarded to fail with that $23 million roster they bought, just to get him to double digit wins.

Sark has never lost 49-0.
Vegetables has..
Before Vegetables was hired..
the last OU losing season was 1998..
with John Blake as head coach.
Vegetables has 2 losing seasons in 3 years..
Average Score vs Sark
Texas 38 (great defense)
OU 12
I hope y’all keep him forever.

No doubt. OU got a really rough draw this year, even a team that would be top 15-20 most years would struggle to hit bowl eligibility against your slate
