So that I may have one thread where I can easily and quickly remind morons that they are, in fact, morons.

I'd rather memorialize your hot take in quotes.

And, if LSU wins the SEC Championship, and that's a big if, they are in, GA is in and tenner is out.

If they all finish this way, USC would get in

I think Clemson is done, that was a laughably bad loss.
Doubt a 12-1 blue blood like USC gets left out.

1 loss Power Five Champ will trump 1 loss non champ.

So Clemson/UNC 1 loss
tOSU/Mich winner
1 loss TCU
And USC in if LSU wins the SEC? Nice.

LSU has to win out including beating UGA and in that scenario you have...

LSU
Div Champion
Conf Champion
11 wins
Win over #1 team

Tenn
11 wins
Reg season win over LSU
Reg Season loss to UGA
Champions of Life...
Thats it. That is all you have...

and do you honestly think the committee will forget this:

I will go on record. In my opinion, 1 loss conference champs (USC and Clemson) have the edge over a two loss conference champ (LSU). Tennessee has to hope for USC and Clemson to lose a second game and LSU to lose the SECCG. They also need to edge out the loser of UM/OSU (which UT should based on their resume).

With two loss conference champs (USC and Clemson) and UGA defeating LSU in the SECCG (more than likely), this is how I think it will go;

1 UGA
2 Winner UM/OSU
3 TCU
4 Loser UM/OSU or UT (comes down to resume and SEC fatigue with the CFP committee)

A 1 loss P5 conference winner should be a playoff spot before a 1 loss non conference winner. If not then it’s not a playoff, it’s an invitational tournament.

Well, this is fricking stupid. The idea is to get the best four teams. Period. Full stop.

Assuming we are talking about the 4th spot because the B10, SEC, and B12 all have an undefeated champ. I would argue USC would be number 4 assuming they win out which would be against a ranked UCLA on the road, a ranked Notre Dame, and the ranked winner of the Utah/Oregon game. Other 1 loss teams do not have the back ended loaded like they currently do and when teams like UT and UM/OSU are sitting home they would be playing in their CCG.

But TCU and USC could very easily when and I would not be surprised to see OSU, UM, UGA, and UT in the playoffs with the way this season has gone.

Maximum chaos. Clemson and UNC both drop a game before their Championship. USC loses to UCLA. TCU drops 1 before the championship and then loses the title game.

This would leave you with a 2-loss ACC champ, 2-loss PAC12 champ and 2-loss Big 12 champ.

UGA, Ohio State, Michigan and VOLS would get in. Coastal Carolina would be the only other 1-loss team left out of the current AP top 25. Pretty chaotic.
