For the first time in a while, I feel like Bama's opponent has a better than 50/50 shot at winning.

I usually get pretty annoyed at the rare occurrence of a Bama loss, because I fully believe Bama has most everyone outmatched at most positions. Plus, I tend to feel much more of a rivalry with in-conference opponents.

That being said, I think Clemson has Bama out-manned at a few key positions - QB being the most important (both sides of the ball).

Should Clemson win, should I:
A - Melt hard before posting a porn bomb

B - Consider the season a success - especially considering the freshman QB - , be happy for Dabo, and look forward to next season

C - Get into a fist fight with a non-child family member

If Bama loses tonight, The LSU fans will make this place unbearable. Bama losing will be the closest LSU comes to winning a NC in a while.

A and C is likely to occur for some Bama fans in the event Clemson wins.

The only condition where I melt is if the offense looks awful again due to Hurts' inability to get any form of downfield passing attack going. I'm still convinced that despite the points Bama has put up this year, the spread, gimmicky, screen pass offense that Kiffin installed this year will set the offense back at least 2 years going forward. Great defenses like LSU (and possibly Clemson) will be able to shut down a one dimensional and predictable O.

If we lose because we get in another shootout, all I can do is congratulate Clemson. Because Bama's D is the sickest thing CFB has seen in a long time.

If Bama loses, I'll be bummed tonight and that's it. I like Dabo, I like Watson, I like Clemson. It'd be more tough to lose to an Oklahoma or Ohio State.

As a gump, there is only one way to properly melt if you lose.

I seriously think it will be one of the all-time meltdowns if that happens. And I sure do hope it does happen.

If another SEC program were to win the SEC, AP, and Coaches all in back to back years, that SEC program could look down their noses at Alabama.

Alabama can "finish" the SEC by finally winning the sec, ap, and coaches all back to back.

Let's be real here...Bama has already 'finished' the SEC with its current accomplishments.

That this game doesn't feel like a legacy-defining game for Bama (at least for me) is probably the reason I won't be on the edge of my seat tonight.

Are Bama fans really trying to convince themselves that they won't melt if they strike out in 2 of the 3 CFP? Yes, they have been there and are the only SEC team to do so but losing 2 out of 3 of them will hurt their pride immensely.

In all honesty, the tOSU loss hurt a good bit, but I don't think this one would.

Plus a bunch of Bammers would be claiming the next HC has won a NC...fo whatever that's worth.

Also, most bama fans would look at is like '4-for-5 in championship games under Saban'.
