The AU and Alabama games are his and the offense's fault. He called a great A&M game especially in the second half. He's still young and had a hell of a depth rebuild so I'll hold off on judgement for a couple of years.

This was mostly the point of the OP, because I have seen these idiotic statements out of OM fans. Not so much on here, but elsewhere.

I think Freeze is in a learning process. I also think he underestimates the chance y'all have at winning games and takes unnecessary risks. For example against Alabama..there was a point in the game where had he taken field goals the score would have been 16-9 rather than 16-0. No telling how that would have changed the feeling of the game and the play calling.

You must take points when you can get them, unless it is late in the game and you have to get a TD.

Freeze overall does a good job. It seems that this year and last years in big, close games there has been that 1 or 2 calls that were questionable and cost OM the game. He will learn from that imo, the OM fans that are giving him grief need to chill at this point.

47 and in for a FG. Points are points. See Alabama game.

But again 47 isn't an auto field goal with Ritter. Plus it was first drive of game against #1 Bama on the road. You don't beat #1 teams by settling for 47 yard field goals on the opening drive.

I personally don't have a single complaint with Freeze. But I'm not saying he has been perfect. But I currently have no complaints.

Let's not forget that Treadwell actually got that first down. Fuggin awful spot of the ball. People never mention that.

Because he didn't get it.

First downs don't work like touchdowns. You don't get it when you "break the plane". Treadwell "broke the plane" but then tucked it back under before he was ruled "down". The momentum of his flip cost us the first down. :(

This. It was a freak accident of a dive. I couldn't believe it. I wanted to bitch at the refs but I couldn't cause they made the right call

I got no problem with him. I still believe in his system. I'd like to see how we respond to the three losses. I by no means expected a great and awesome season.

Unlike the previous 2 losses, I see no major calls that I had to really scratch my head over in the last game. It just came down to the wire, and if we had another 2 minutes, we would have won it. It's just the clock and Johnny Football fricked us, again. It's the same story as last season, except with more injuries.

Actually, deltaland is a good poster for the most part. I don't mind him being here. I don't agree with him on major bad coaching decisions in the last game, but I don't think he's trolling.

Good thing that was directed at Sorantable and not Deltaland.

No I don't forget.

But I also knew out D couldn't hold them to 6 points. And I think Freeze knew it and most likely everyone else in the Stadium knew it.

If you are LSU, UGA, UF yeah you kick the field goal there. But Freeze knew would can't go toe to toe with Bama yet. It was a chance we had to take.

Would losing 25-3 or 25-9 make you feel better? Not me losing 25-0 is the same as 25-3 in my book.

I don't have a problem with his play calling because with better, more developed players, the plays he calls won't look so bad. These young players will hopefully turn into great players one day.

Thats why coaches need more than a few years to build a program.

We were definitely out-coached against A&M. I never agreed with the decision to hire him. He just isn't SEC caliber in my opinion.

That's just dumb. Their Heisman winning QB outplayed our entire team. The coaching had little to do with it. I think Freeze could have gone a different way on the last series, but even then Im not 100% sure it would have turned out differently.
