Don’t kid yourself. Both teams are full of players like this.

Yeah but it seems like we are only having a problem with one of our mercenaries. LSU has gotta have a toxic locker room. Lane has been a distraction all summer as he acts out.
I have heard nothing about their actual team or how they are gelling while our coaches keep raving about our depth ie we have more guys who can play sec football.

Imagine going through all of these practices over the past several months and seeing guys next to you getting replaced with players that couldn't make it in the NFL and taking your brothers' spot immediately. That would be a huge distraction in the locker room - regardless if you're making NIL bank or not.

Lane's ego could very well have gotten the best of him this time around. He's now spending his energy on calling up his buddies at ESPN to get airtime to try to win PR points after all of the additional negative press he's getting.

I won't mince words, I did not and do not want any good players going to Louisiana State, but I also did not want those guys coming back to us this late in the game for this exact reason. Plain and simple.
