If we had 5 or 6 like Becker, nobody would touch us.

I’m really trying to get back into our baseball team, which they are getting my interest back up, but these girls have really gotten my attention more so. Really fun to watch.

We may get the crap beaten out of us before this is over with. But this Arizona team would not hit that amount of homeruns if they played every day in Oxford, Mississippi.

It was over, but awesome for Becker to get the hit in her last at bat. May we get many more like her at OM.

Part ways with the head coach and we start 0-5. Eye roll.

We will regret losing Smith. We were a nothing in softball before he got here and look to be returning.

Well maybe they can get it together, but it was far from an ideal start.

Let’s fire up the coaching carousel. Who do we hire to right this ship?

Can we not do this for at least the first half of the season... please... it’s exhausting and insufferable

Also, let’s hope my Baker prediction comes true.... like now.... like this very at bat

OMG Didn't realize losing a good coach meant we couldn't beat garbage teams too

I know it's just softball, and in the grand scheme of things not a ton of people care, but I'd sure like a few questions answered from somebody with inside knowledge of the situation. (pardon my handle, I have none).

1. What's the team psyche like? Or at least what was it like 8 games ago because I can't imagine it's great tonight.
2. What's the new coach's philosophy, approach, etc?
3. Isn't this team supposed to have plenty of better than average players? You'd think they could have gotten past California Baptist today almost just on their own merits... forget coaching.
4. Speaking of coaching, when you start 1-7, what have we been doing the last couple months?
5. Is it possible they get this turned around sooner than later? It's a very long season, but this start makes a fan wonder just what the heck happened.

It won’t get easier, like baseball, sec softball is a gauntlet. The coach right now is an interim
