Not going to say Lady Rebels because ladies were Rebels also and Men don't play softball in NCAA. Almost swept Tennessee! I streamed those games and that was a blast. Thanks to insider for that, you now have me hooked! Before Rebel Softball my only interest in Ladies sports was women's pool in short skirts with a long cue ball! Hold my beer I need a pic! These women made some fantastic athelectic play this week end. Bravo Zulu!

I am an hour and 15 from Ole Miss but taking in a game will be tough for me as I take care of my mother in law with dimentia and it's only me to watch her. I wil try to find a way though to make a couple maybe this year. I was trying to figure out where the softball field was and realized those roads did not exist when I was there! Damn my wife is old! Lol. I will find it and we will go. Thanks again insider.

I was in the outfield yesterday. We blew it 2x to give them the win but at least we got the series

Pilotreb, you should definitely get to a game, but unless we host a regional (which is quite possible) you’ll have to wait until next year. Our bunch is very quick, plays good defense, we have some good pitching and they have charisma. I hope we can get to Oklahoma City.

P.S. I got a kick out of the announcer yesterday when we went into extra innings and she said “free softball.” I have news for her, it’s always free. There’s no admission fee.

Rebel softball has been fun to watch.

My daughter plays softball, so we enjoy watching the games on the weekend together.

Score 4 in the 6th to go up 5-3 at Georgia. Led 5-3 bottom of 7th. A walk, an error, an illegal pitch call on an out and 3 singles later we lose the game and our first series of the year. It was a little deflating. Play again in 30 minutes. Really don’t need to get swept or our regional host role could be in serious jeopardy.

Actually there was way more BS in that second game than I noted. Then we just played very uncharacteristic in the third game. One hell of a way for your last SEC series to go.

Just got to win tonight and right that ship. Good showing in SECT could get us a host spot possibly. Ole Miss is sitting at #17 in RPI.

If not we are going to be a hell of a 2 seed somewhere.

That's all a bunch of crap. Seems very unfair for it to happen at this juncture of the season.

On a much better note, OM beat State 9-4 earlier today in the SEC Tourney. I have no idea who pitched. But I hope to watch when they play tomorrow.

So what I gathered is they were in fact illegal pitches. Why would the coaches not coach it out even if it was not being called.

I guess they got it corrected and it didn’t wreck her motion because she won today. Cheers to them. Let’s get another win tomorrow.

Welp we sure looked woeful today. Didn’t look good in any phase of the game. Lost five of their last six. Would have preferred a better pre-NCAA selection run.

Yep, they need to take a step back and reassess before the NCAA regionals

Gals got number 11 seed overall and will be staying in Oxford. Paired up with the Arizona if I read the bracket correctly.

Did i read it wrong or does it seem like we got screwed? Looks like the girls got the softball version of Tenn Tech with Louisiana.

They are like 50-4 and number 7 in the country. Why are we hosting them?

Like i said unless i read something incorrectly.

You read it correctly, but the truth is we are lucky to be hosting at all with the way we finished.
