Hg, you a Boss City resident? If so what are the best places to eat (fine dining & dives) over in the Shreveport/Boss City area? On my way there again and other than Superior I really haven't found any place I can claim as a favorite.

Yea most of the nice stuff is in south Shreveport like Superior. There's also another really good fancy Mexican restaurant off of Youree Drive called Cantina Laredo.

Bistro Byronz is another place that I hear is really good that I've been wanting to check out. It's only a block or two down from Superior on Line that has some good Creole food.

You can't go wrong with the Oyster Bar either. Also checkout Twisted Root.

All of that is in Shreveport though

I'll have to check them out. Trying to get myself motivated to hit the gym....something about hotel gyms, even the one in the Hilton, demotivate me

Might I suggest hitting the hotel bar, instead?

I take it you're at the Hilton downtown Shreveport? There's a nice place a few blocks over called Blind Tiger that's pretty good.

There's a lot of bars down there too

Trying to figure out the right place to post this because it is a recruiting issue but I don't want to clog up the recruiting thread:

WTF is up with the crap about the 7on7 Sponsor cutting SP from the LA team? All the stuff posted on the thread on tRant (thread has been anchored) reeks to high heaven! The Sponsor posted and made some really vague comments but did say "corrupt parents" etc.... What have y'all heard and what are y'all's thoughts?

Basically a butthurt LSU fan who happened to be a coach. It's becoming a problem like the AAU, which is ruining college basketball.

I imagine this probably pertained to the situation.

The bar Mojo's!? Hellllllllllllllll no.

Stay away unless you're into the urban thing... The Boot is pretty laid back and so is Noble Savage.

Bastard. It was 60 here yesterday, all the snow from the last storm we had (10 inches) had melted. Now after a day of sleet it's snowing again. And we're supposed to get another 6-10 inches by morning.

I'm in that small section in southern indianna getting 10-12 inches just north of Kentucky.

Same situation had all of that snow, then rain and sleet, now a yon of snow never thought it could snow that hard that quickly. Terrible road conditions because of the rain and sleet before the snow.

What in the hell are you doing in that God forsaken state?

Y'all usually get a ton more than we do since systems tend to be stronger on the Northern side of the river. It's the same with tornados as well unfortunately. I worked at a youth shelter over in New Albany just up from IUS for a couple years. The roads up in the Knobs would be ridiculous.

Everyone go read this thread that we are referencing. I cant get a read on this guy. I know 7on7 is corrupt as hell and this guy kicks Shea off of the team.

What is the consensus here?

Guy claiming to be the coach for Shea 7on7 team

Temporary work, GF works here as well. Yeah it's like a death zone here. Tornados, more snow than ive ever seen in my life, flooding from the river. All this place is missing is earthquakes, and volcanoes. Will not be a permanent residence.
